At ImageStripper, privacy isn't just a feature—it's our entire mission. We built this tool to help you regain control over your digital footprint. This policy outlines exactly how we handle your data (and more importantly, how we don't).
The "No-Storage" Promise
1-Hour Auto-Deletion
Every image you upload and its processed version are permanently and automatically deleted from our servers exactly 1 hour after upload. We do not keep backups.
No Image Logging
We never log, view, or share the content of your images. Our server logs only record anonymous metadata like processing time and file size for system monitoring.
Encrypted Transfers
All uploads and downloads are protected using industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS) encryption.
Data We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service:
- Account Information: If you create an account, we store your email address and password hash.
- Billing Information: Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- Usage Statistics: We store anonymous counts of images processed to manage tier limits.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted partners to run ImageStripper:
- Supabase: For database hosting and temporary image storage.
- Stripe: For payment processing.
- Vercel: For hosting our web application.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we delete images automatically, the only data you can request deletion for is your account information. You can do this at any time by contacting us.
